Scunthorpe United

Scunthorpe United

Dear Friends,
Many of you know that I have been a fan of the West Indies cricket team as long as I can remember, however I have made a monumental decision to shift all my support and “good vibes” to English league 2 leaders Scunthorpe United.
There are many reasons for this change, foremost among them is the fact that I often find myself supporting Scunthorpe subconsciously while watching the Windies play, I say things like, ‘look at this scunt hey” “what the scunt he doing/thinking” “what kinda scunt was dat”, "whe dey fine dis scunt?" and even “look at this pack of scunts”, so I have decided that if I am going to watch scunt, let it be the official Scunthorpe United.
The WICB also seems to be backing Scunthorpe as they obviously ‘deh pun Scunt” , the coach thinks he coaching a “bunch of second string scunts” , with Scunthorpe United on its way up to the championship and even , dare we dream, the Barclays Premiere League, they seem to be upwardly mobile Scunts as preferred by our legendary skipper Fat Cat, who drones on about that endlessly.
Even when winning , the windies evoke scunty comments, “they score 363? Look banna if ya doan know the score, shut ya scunt!” and “the odder side must be real scunts” .
On this anecdotal evidence, Scunthorpe United may well be the quintessential Guyanese team as we are a nation that revels in Scuntery as practiced by our national assembly and political parties.
So, who’s with me? “yuh deh pun Scunt or wha?” I believe we have been for some time now, subconsciously.
I look forward to the reply of WICB press officer Imran Luncheon Khan.
Sincerely
Robin

P.S
I have been informed that the WICB has filed a copyright claim to the term SHYTEHOUND, and as such "I should haul my scunt"
